A 28-year-old man in Bayelsa has lost his life after reportedly getting involved in a scuffle with a tricycle operator, also known as Keke NAPEP.
The victim, Twanton Weke was said to have been attacked by the driver when they had a disagreement over the fare to be paid.
The deceased was allegedly stabbed in the neck, head and chest and he succumbed to his injuries and died.

Police sources said the deceased was stabbed while returning from a late night party hosted near the Gbarain/Ubie Oil and Gas Gathering Facility near Gbarantoru community.
The driver in his version alleged that the deceased who was in the company of two other boys had tried to beat him and snatch his tricycle and it was in the process of defending himself that he stabbed the deceased.
A team of the men of the state security outfit known as operation Door Akpor were reported to have arrived at the time of the deadly scuffle and taken into custody the killer driver and also taken away the deceased’s corpse.
Spokesman of the state police command, Mr. Alex Akhigbe who confirmed the development, said investigation was on-going to ascertain the culpability of the suspect.
