Let’s talk about the successes the courts may or many not have had with corruption,
Writer and accountant, Feyi Fawehinmi wrote an article titled: ‘Buhari 365 Part 1: La Corruzione Fantastico’ where he assessed President Muhammadu Buhari’s first year in office vis-a-vis the economy and fight against corruption.
As expected, quite a few other users took to Twitter to discuss the issues raised in the article, one of which is who deserves credit for the Administration of Criminal Justice Act- is it the past administrations of Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan or the current administration of Muhammadu Buhari?

Good piece. One thing: it seemed to create an impression that the ACJA was a product of this govt. GEJ signed it.

He signed it a week before leaving office. The current guys have run with it
— tyro (@DoubleEph) May 15, 2016
Oh of course. It's a law. They have to run with it. The new govt can't come and say they'll run with something else.

And it was on the table throughout GEJ's time in office. He signed a lot of rubbish in his last few weeks, no credit for it

Plus ACJA was first introduced in 2005. OBJ was president then. Delayed and delayed. The man who signed it deserves all the credit
— Stanley Azuakola (@stanleyazuakola) May 15, 2016
Er no, he simply signed what was placed in front of him. And he was on his way out. Nothing interesting there

we are grateful to Pro-corruption Jonathan that he assented but credit goes to the initiators and the 7th NASS @stanleyazuakola

yes, we were young law students then. I recall we had this discussion in the hostel when we got the news @stanleyazuakola
— Aruoture John (@AruotureJon) May 15, 2016
while you guys are at it, perhaps it wud help to add that ACJA was a brain-child of AGF Bayo Ojo, hence OBJ's @stanleyazuakola
— Aruoture John (@AruotureJon) May 15, 2016
NASS only passed it in March&he signed it before leaving. He could have ignored it,afterall he didnt sign constitution amendment
