It’s 2017, and sexual harassment is a no-no. In recent times, Hollywood Producer Harvey Weinstein has been made to face the music for sexually harassing actresses throughout his career, starting with his being fired from the Weinstein Company.
Time and again, when women share stories of sexual harassment on Twitter, the popular clapback is #NotAllMen.
Actress Alyssa Milano, in light of recent events, began a social experiment on Twitter to expose how ubiquitous sexual harassment really is.

So far, her tweet has garnered over 59,000 replies and 21,000 retweets. And the stories are so numerous, Twitter helped the trend along by curating it on Moments.
These are seven women sharing traumatising tales, whose effects some are yet to overcome.

I couldn't get anyone to write me a statement saying what they saw. Everyone was afraid for their jobs.

Me too. At a press junket by A-List celebrity. Witnesses. I didn't report it because I didn't want his name attached to my career forever.

Men open up, too
While I know this is about women as I man I was sexually abused by a man when I was child and it haunts me to this day #MeToo

Here’s the unfortunate thing
Candlelit vigils to protest a rape
While cities burned to protect the rapist
" #MeToo " roared the collective voice
While the perpetrator sits in silence

Action plan
Men,
Don't say you have a mother, a sister, a daughter…
Say you have a father, a brother, a son who can do better.
We all can.#MeToo

Do better.
