Following a disappointing outing for President Trump and GOP’s beloved candidate Luther Strange in the Alabama Republican Senate special election which saw Roy Moore claimed remarkable victory, President Trump has congratulated the former Alabama Supreme Court Justice for his victory in the election.
Trump who will be disappointed by his failed endorsement and support of Strange moved on to congratulate Moore and charged him to win in the December general election where he will be pitted against Democrats Doug Jones.
Trump wrote in a tweet: “Congratulations to Roy Moore on his Republican Primary win in Alabama. Luther Strange started way back & ran a good race. Roy, WIN in Dec!”

It would be recalled that, President Trump during last Friday rally in support of Strange mispronounced Roy Moore as Ray Moore.
He also said a win for him in the concluded primary will be tantamount to Democrats snapping up the Alabama Senate seat, arguing that the former Supreme Court Judge does not possess the quality to defeat Democrats Jones in December.
However, with Moore’s victory on Tuesday, Trump will be forced to make a turn on his word and support Moore in December to sustain the the Republican dominance of the Senate.
