This heart wrenching video clip shows Sergeant Sunday Badang, a Nigerian policeman who was part of the anti-bomb unit.
In the video, Badang who was on duty approached a roadside bomb in Kaduna without caution.
Onlookers applauded his bravery as he went straight for the explosives, but a few seconds later, he was blown apart as he tried to use his bare hands to detonate a Boko Haram bomb left beside a bus stop.
