At the expiration of the 15-day period granted the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency today, a Lagos high court has ordered that the embattled comedian, Babatunde Omidina also known as Baba Suwe be released. The comedian who had spent three weeks in custody of the agency on suspicion of drug ingestion was released today was granted bail to a sum of N500, 000.00 and surety.

The comedian came out of the courtroom this morning a freeman amidst cheers from fans, friends and family.
