Reggae Singer, Cynthia Morgan, also known as Madrina, is back on the headlines but not with a new song as many would have loved to see.
In a series of Instagram Story uploads, Cynthia Morgan unleashed a barrage of insults at her former record label boss, Jude Okoye also referred to as Jude Engees, again. She pointedly attacked him in the posts, saying that he “ would suffer for his evil ways”.
This development came as a surprise to many, as the issue of Cynthia Morgan, Jude and the circumstances surrounding her deal with her former record label, Northside Entertainment was recently just put to rest, with many thought the case was done for good.
Earlier in the year, Morgan had made a reappearance in a surprise Instagram live chat where she revealed that she had issues with her former record label, owned by Jude Okoye. The singer claimed that she lost all royalties, her stage name, access to her social media pages and her Vevo account, adding that she was planning to make a comeback and announced her new name – Madrina.
She also declared that due to her negligence while signing the music contract, she was cheated upon, made destitute and was stripped of the rights to use her real name. This triggered a series of reactions from Nigerians with many going as far as castigating Jude Okoye for his alleged “wickedness.” It was later revealed after Jude Okoye released copies of the contract between the singer and his record label, Northside Entertainment, that she was lying.
Cynthia Morgan soon released an apology stating she was sorry about the events that occurred and that she appreciated all those who showed her support when she made the initial appearance. The matter seemed to have come to a satisfactory close, which is why Nigerians were so surprised with her most recent outburst.
Some speculated that the outburst was a result of a present psychological issue or perhaps she was under the influence of some substance that had put her off balance.

There were Nigerians who posited that if this was an attempt to amass publicity for new music, she should just go ahead and release the songs; going further to say that she would still be supported without all the drama.
Dear Cynthia Morgan abeg if you want to drop music, please drop the song and just stop looking for who to drag and insult.

Some cautioned the singer, telling her that no matter what may have happened between her and Jude, she should make an attempt to move on from it or it would derail her career.
