Hours ago, the Senator representing Borno North Senatorial District, Ahmed Zanna, was confirmed dead.
After his death was confirmed by the spokesperson for the Senate, Enyinanya Abaribe,- a couple of reasons have been put forward as to why he passed away.
Some people believe that Zanna died after a long battle with Liver cancer.
However, according to Premium Times, sources close to the family said the late lawmaker had been battling with undisclosed illness that caused him partial paralysis.
Whether the undisclosed illness is ‘liver cancer’ remains to be ascertained.
