A telephone conversation allegedly made by Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike with some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), plotting to rig the recently concluded legislative rerun in the state has been leaked by SaharaReporters.

The conversations revealed the speaker who sounded like the governor arranging with an INEC official from Plateau State to rig the election.

He was heard threatening to collect his money back from an INEC official who had refused to continue with the plan and also promised to kill the official.

An INEC official confirmed that most of the electoral officers who conducted the recently concluded legislative elections in Rivers State were drafted from Plateau and Oyo States.
