After 16 years, David Mark may cease to be a Senator

Senate President, David Mark, may soon cease to be the President of the Senate.

According to unofficial results made available to YNaija, Mark has lost his senate election in Adoka, Ugboju constituency of Benue State, for the first time in 16 years.

Initial numbers indicates that the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the zone with 48,191 while Mark’s party, the People Democratic Party (PDP) got 31,731 votes.

Barring any surprises, David Mark will not be returning to the upper chamber of the House of Assembly after May 29.
