The Nigerian Senate on Thursday adjourned plenary till January 10, 2017.
The motion to adjourn was moved by Senate Leader, Ali Ndume and seconded by Minority leader Godswill Akpabio.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki, then put the question to his colleagues and adjourned plenary to January 10, 2017.
The Senate also swore in the newly elected senators from Rivers, Magnus Abe, George Sekibo and Osinakachukwu Ideozu.
The three lawmakers were elected in the Rivers legislative re-run elections that held on Saturday.
