Former Super Eagles defender, Efe Sodje has been accused of using a sexually abusive language on a footballer’s girlfriend.
The player, 20-year-old Malachi Lavelle-Moore said Sodje approached his partner while he was warming up on the pitch last month.
Sodje, who is the assistant manager of Macclesfield, reportedly told the player’s 26-year-old girlfriend, Cara Cofie, that he had not been selected in the team’s squad due to a lack of aggression.
He then asked Cofie whether Lavelle-Moore was aggressive in the bedroom and suggested he could take his place if he was not.
42-year-old Sodje was reportedly suspended for just over a week, while the striker says he is considering quitting football after Sodje’s comments.
