To mark the launch of its service in the city of Makurdi, GOtv on Wednesday, 20 August 2014 held an open air concert at the Cool-off Park.
Hosts for the event were Radio Benue’s On-air-personality, Henry Ipole aka H316, Archbishop of the Microphone Diocese supported by comedian Eneche.
In GOtv’s characteristic nature of adding local spice to its events, the gig saw performances from local artists, Biggie Brown, Jumabie and TK Swags while EyesixOne and Benue Michael Jackson dazzled GOtv fans and subscribers with their electrifying dance steps. There was also lots of comedy from the award-winning comedian, Pastor Nicodemus.
General Manager GOtv Nigeria, Elizabeth Amkpa noted that Makurdi people are known to be fun-loving and that music lovers in Makurdi will have the privilege of watching six exciting music channels on GOtv, featuring the best of African and international artists.
