The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Babachir Lawal says he will not appear before the Senate on Thursday, The Punch reports.

Lawal said this in a letter addressed to the Senate’s Committee on Mounting Humanitarian Crisis in North East.

The SGF stated he would be unable to appear because he has gone to court to challenge the invitation.
