She did her best to embrace her quirky side for a Japanese runway show on Wednesday.
But Rita Ora ended up looking more crazy than cutesy in a bizarre blue dress embellished with large black pom-poms as she took to the stage during Tokyo Fashion Week.
The 22-year-old singer teamed the dress with equally exaggerated buns on either side of her head, and her favourite pair of black gladiator sandals.

Rita even shared a picture of herself in the ensemble on her Twitter page, and made a reference to the Pokemon phenomenon, writing: ‘Pikachu. Just got off stage tokyo runway..#puffpuff.’
But the outfit wasn’t the only bizarre look Rita went for during the fashion-forward day.
Earlier in the day, Rita was seen wearing her sandals with a black crop top and high-waisted pencil skirt, topped off with a dog-collar style crucifix necklace and matching earrings.
The How We Do singer flashed peace symbols at the camera as she pouted for waiting photographers.
Rita’s third outfit of the day consisted of a blue velvet maxi dress with a leather biker style jacket and heavy black Caterpillar boots.
But in between all her outfit changing, Rita still managed to have a joke as she posted a shot of herself ‘hanging’ from the clothes rack in her leather jacket.

On Tuesday night, Rita decided to indulge in a much-needed beauty treatment as she enjoyed a spot of down time in Tokyo, posting a comical snap on her Twitter page of herself with a friend with unusual white film over their faces as they pouted up a storm into the camera.
Alongside the Instagram picture, she wrote: ‘Night night Tokyo #facemelt.’
Of course, being a relentless self-promoter, Rita used the opportunity to reference one of her own tracks, Facemelt, in the post.

The singer certainly seems to be having a whale of a time on her promotional tour of Japan, and has been constantly updating her fans with what she’s been getting up to.
As well as posting snaps of her taking a ride on the Japanese subway and performing to an adoring crowd, the Kosovan-born beauty also shared a picture of her heading out to see Brandy in action, who she admitted was one of her ‘vocal icons’.
She wrote: ‘On my way to watch brandy one of my vocal icons..#tokyo #ambush #werowdy.’
But it would appear Rita’s relentless schedule could be getting the better of her after she admitted she was struggling from the pressures of continuous early mornings.
She tweeted: ‘Good morning 🙂 up and early 5am morning tv thank god for makeup! Don’t think any1’s allowed to look good.’
Continuing her worldwide takeover of the music scene, Rita was spotted arriving at Tokyo’s Narita International Airport on Sunday.
Opting for a typically quirky ensemble, the starlet teamed an unusual fox-print shirt with a baseball cap, jeans and a fun ladybird suitcase.
Prior to her stint in Japan, the singer had spent some time touring Australia for the 2013 Future Music Festival.
But the trip was not without its controversies, with her becoming embroiled in a public spat with fellow performer Azealia Banks.
Writing on her Twitter page, the Harlem-born lyricist wrote: ‘She’s been TRYING IT on this tour man. Ever since I arrived on this tour Rita’s been going out of her way to try and intimidate me.’
