Several people have been reported dead, after a suicide bomber attacked a Shia Muslim procession, in Kano state.

The bombing attack took place on Friday afternoon, at Dakasoye village, in Garun Mallam local government area of the state.

The suicide bomber is suspected to be a man, who hid incognito among a group of women, who were the most affected by the detonation.

“It’s a huge crowd so it’s too early to give a precise figure of casualties,” one of the organisers told AFP.
