Nkereke Ibangha, the Cross River State coordinator of the National
Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has disclosed that four members of the 2011
Batch ‘C’ set died during the service year.
He said this on Thursday during the passing out ceremony of the 2011
Batch ‘C’ corps members in Calabar, the state capital.
According to reports, Ibangha expressed sadness at the loss of the
young people while in the service of their father land.
The coordinator said out of the 1,997 members who are passing out, 20
discharged their duties creditably well, thereby winning the state
governor’s award.
