Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has sacked his commissioners, special advisers as well as senior special assistants and the SSG.

This was disclosed in a statement signed and posted on the state government’s official website by the Permanent Secretary, Government House, Onyii Wamah, on Friday.

The statement said Chief of Staff, Sunny Nwakodo, and the Commissioner for Finance, Obinna Oriaku were retained.

Also retained is the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of the state, Umeh Kalu (SAN).

 

The statement however did not give any reasons for their sack.

The commissioners  had took turns to present their scorecards at a forum attended by the governor between May 28 and May 29.
