A few days ago, new broke out that actress, Mercy Johnson was wanted by the Nigerian Police Force for absconding with a producer’s N2million.
The movie marketer, Film Mark Productions had accused Mercy Johnson of running off with over two million naira paid to her for a role in a movie that was produced in 2014, only to abandon the production after few days and feature in just few scenes.
Reacting to the report today, Mercy Johnson via her management Bigsam Media told YNaija she had no comment on the issue.
The movie in question, Betrayal of My trust – which tells the story of a young man struggling to succeed in life – has been released and is now showing online.
It stars Chika Ike, Michael Godson. Mercy Johnson Okojie, Solomon Akiyesi also star in the movie.
Meanwhile, actor Solomon Akiyesi in a chat with YNaija confirmed that Mercy Johnson showed up during the rehearsals for the movie “It’s not true, we were together in Asaba. She showed up for the scenes where she had a major role to play so i don’t understand where the rumor is emancipating from.“
