While the rumours of an impending exit from YBNL are fast spreading, Adekunle Gold has disclosed that his album, which was scheduled for release on June 1 has now been pushed back.

He said this is as a result of the Muslim holy festival of Ramadan.

He made this revelation while speaking on a Now O’ Clock podcast hosted by Wole.

‘I am pushing it forward a bit because of Ramadan. It was supposed to drop for June 1 before, but apparently it occurred to me that my muslim friends don’t listen to music during Ramadan, so it makes sense to push it forward because of them as well. So by God’s grace in July after Ramadan, and all of us can enjoy it together.”

The singer then said the album is 80% ready.
