While the rest of the world was asleep, Nigerian Twitter was awake and hissing with drama. A lot of Nigerians have been known to delve into midnight Twitter activities which include posting a wide array of thirst traps while others are “asleep.” Last night’s activities took a wild turn when people started posting pictures of their partners in a new Twitter trend.

The trend kickstarted when Twitter user @TayoAmusan2, urged people to post pictures of their man. She tagged the segment “Is your man your man?” The essence of the activity is to ensure people are not actually dating cheats.

All soon took a downwards turn, when women posted their partner’s pictures and several girls came in to claim that he is also their partner; stirring hot drama in the Twitter pot. Some ladies ended up posting pictures of the same man. Some, after flaunting their partner, were confronted with screenshots of their partner in another person’s DM’s- flirting. Some quoted these pictures and put out direct claims that the subject in question had just slept with them.

On another note, even some of the supposed unassuming women that posted the pictures were also revealed as cheats.  With Twitter users coming in with chat receipts to prove that these women’s hands weren’t clean. There were those that took to battling it out in the comment section, putting out all their dirty drama to air.

While there were those who confidently posted pictures, only to be disappointed by the subject as their supposed partners came to the timeline denying them or to claim that they are not really serious with them.

Several Nigerians however, just had a field day scrolling through the timeline and digesting the spectacle for their own entertainment. There were those that silently looked and laughed and there were those who made jokes and commented “crying” emojis wherever the action was unfolding.

It seems as though all the wild, and entertaining drama is taking place at midnight on Twitter, these days. However, you can be sure you won’t miss out on anything while you might be sleeping because YNaija won’t fail in bringing it to you and making sense out of it.
