Nigerian journalist, Ahmed Salkida who was arrested on Monday at the Nnamdi Azikwe airport, Abuja has been denied access to his lawyer, Femi Falana, Premium Times reports.
Salkida, alongside Ahmad Bolori and lawyer, Aisha Wakil had been declared wanted by the Nigerian Army over links to terrorist group, Boko Haram.
Salkida had distributed the most recent video of the abducted Chibok girls, which he said was sent to him by Boko Haram.
His lawyer, Femi Falana on Tuesday said he has been denied access to Salkida.
Falana said he had “been briefed as Mr. Salkida’s counsel”, but that he was “still trying to have access to him”.
