Former governor of Bayelsa state, Timipre Sylva, won the violence-ridden and irregular primary election of the All Progressives Congress, on Tuesday.
Sylva earned 726 votes to defeat Timi Alaibe, who managed to poll a paltry 4 votes.
1,502 delegates were expected to vote at the primary election, but due to the violence and disorder, only 730 got to vote.
