19-year-old American Pop star, Justin Bieber, has announced that he is officially retiring from music.

The Canadian singer who just released latest album Journals, first spoke about his ‘retirement’ on an LA radio station earlier this month.

He made the surprising announcement on Twitter, on Christmas Eve – or Christmas Day in the UK, to his 47 million followers.

According to reports:

He then went on to make the claim that being a belieber is actually a “lifestyle”.

He tweeted: “The media talks a lot about me.

“They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I’m never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle.”

He concluded by saying: “Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ.

“Merry Christmas.

“IM HERE FOREVER.”

Earlier this month, the Heartbreaker hitmaker told an LA radio station: “After the new album, I’m actually retiring man.

“I’m retiring.”
