
Stunned witnesses called police after the woman shucked her clothes and jumped into the East River near Pike St. about 3:30 p.m., cops said.

Emergency Service Unit Detectives James Coll and Frank Steves jumped into the water and swam out 30 feet to save the woman, who was floating beneath the Manhattan Bridge.
The woman had swam about 30 feet away from the Manhattan shore before being rescued.
She was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, cops said.

About two hours later, a 24-year-old man jumped into the Harlem River to fix his stalled Jet-Ski in Inwood, but he couldn’t get back to the dock at West 218th St., cops said.
Officer Richard Natale saw the victim’s hand under the dock, pulled him out of the water and performed CPR, police said.

The man was listed in stable condition at Columbia Presbyterian.

The woman is being evaluated at Bellevue Hospital as an emotionally disturbed person, police said.
