President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Morocco, venue of the 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), also known as COP-22.
Buhari departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International, Abuja late Monday afternoon aboard the presidential jet.
On arrival, the president was greeted by some members of his cabinet, and other top government officials.
Some of those who received him include Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed, among others.
During his time in Morocco, Buhari will rally international support for the clean-up of Ogoniland in the Niger Delta and the resuscitation of the Lake Chad Basin.
