Aisha, wife of former head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari has described Wednesday’s twin explosions in Kaduna yesterday as traumatic.
Although her husband escaped, two of his bodyguards and an aide were among the wounded.
His Toyota Prado jeep was also hit by a suspected bomber near the 1 Mechanised Division of the Nigerian Army in the Kawo area of Kaduna.
“I never believed that one can kill himself to kill another person in Nigeria,” she said. “I have heard of suicide bombers in Nigeria, but I never believed until the attack on my husband yesterday. It is scary, The experience was traumatising.”
