Prince Buruji Kashamu, the embattled Senator, who is allegedly wanted in the United States, appears to be scared of two things- extradition and death.
According to a report by PM News, Kashamu scampered off an Aero Contractors flight, alongside his lawyers, over a minor problem with the plane.
The dramatic incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday, June 23, when Kashamu was billed to travel to Abuja from Lagos.
The report stated that Kashamu and his lawyers were seated in the Business class of Aero Flight 127, when the captain announced a minor problem with the plane.
The captain, identified as Kunle, informed the passengers that the light of an indicator had not come on brightly enough and that the Aero engineers were fixing the problem.
He assured the passengers that the problem was nothing to worry about, adding that it would be rectified within three minutes.
Immediately the Captain finished with his explanation, Kashamu was said to have signalled to his lawyers, urging them to alight from the plane.
Other passengers were said to have laughed hysterically as Kashamu and his lawyers rushed out of the plane.
The flight, which left Lagos at 14.45, reportedly landed in Abuja without any mishap.
