Edinson Cavani’s agent, Claudio Annelluci, has confirmed that the player has received a number of offers from England.
The Uruguay international is understood to be unsettled at Paris Saint-Germain, as he has to play second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is seeking to replace Barcelona-bound Luis Suarez with his compatriot.
Cavani moved last summer to France for a fee around £53m and it will take big money to lure the player away.
“There was much interest in the player during the past six months. I can confirm that Cavani has heard proposals from Liverpool and Arsenal,” Annelluci reportedly told El Telegrafo.
“He would love to play in England, but has not yet made a final decision. He is not interested in money and fame, he just wants to be happy playing football.”
Manchester United and Chelsea are also believed to be keeping an eye on the former Napoli hit man.
