The Dance Movie Project (TDMP), Africa’s first Afrobeats dance movie launched in cinemas across Nigeria on September 9, 2016. Set in Lagos, Nigeria, TDMP narrates a moving story of two brothers fighting to nurture their love for dance and save the life of their single mother who suffers from diabetes, one of Africa’s silent killers.

Produced by Alexander “Lexx” Ore and directed by Idahosa Osagie, the motion picture educates moviegoers about the debilitating impact of diabetes on the continent. TDMP is inspired by real-life events, providing audiences with a degree of authenticity that makes each movie frame more relatable and enjoyable.

The movie has features guest appearances from Banky W, Toolz, Denrele Edun, DJ Obi and more.
