Taylor Swift may be down after splitting with Harry Styles, but she’s not out.
Her cleavage almost was, however, as she arrived on the red carpet at the People’s Choice in a very daring plunging white gown on Wednesday night.
The dress was a far cry from one of Taylor’s usual embellished, retro confections (which many of the other stars were wearing, incidentally) and was perhaps chosen to attract a certain 18-year-old’s attention as he parties it up across the pond in England.

Taylor, 22, couldn’t disguise her red eyes even with layers of kohl pencil and eyeshadow and though she bravely managed the odd, weak smile… her eyes remained resolutely sad.
She accessorised the new look with a pair of simple turquoise earrings and a sweeping updo that again, was much more grown up and sexy (or at least an attempt to be) than her angelic curls.

She means business: Taylor looked like a woman who intended to come out fighting after yet another
ignominious split

Moved on: Harry left Sketch in central London last night with a pretty brunette Alexandra Roach and comic James Corden in tow
The People’s Choice Awards are the younger, funkier sibling of the Golden Globes and the Oscars but this year the red carpet was awash with glamorous confections that could put the senior ceremonies to shame.
Perhaps she might be able to cheer herself by chatting to that other band of British hunks, The Wanted, who were excitedly lapping up the red carpet and all the pretty actresses.
According to E! they had Swift after her breakup with Styles.
‘I think she should stay single for a bit,’ Jay McGuiness said.

Whereas Max George, who at 23 is a year older than Ms Swift, added: ‘She’s a very attractive girl.’
He’s been single since splitting with beautiful British soap star, Michelle Keegan, 25.
George added of his recent fan Lindsay Lohan: ‘She was good to party with, but there’s definitely not going to be any babies on the horizon.’
But Swift, being a more discerning character than Lohan, kept away from the boys backstage, preferring instead to chat to Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi and The Hunger Games crew.

She also made time to spend with her fans, happily posing for pictures and signing autographs.
