For fans of self proclaimed Nigerian Michael Jackson – D’banj – it’s indeed a glorious day.

D’banj has promised fans and critics alike that a follow up to his 2008 Entertainer album is in the works.

The Kokomaster revealed this to YNaija on Tuesday, at MTV Base’s media briefing in Lagos.

D’banj said a team of executives are in the process of selecting songs from his music catalogue to include into the yet to be named album.

He said: “I just came back from South Africa where I met with some executives who are picking some specific songs to make the album.”

“So hopefully, by God’s grace with all things possible, an album is going to come out this year. A D’banj album is going to come out this year.”
