Steve Stephens, the “Facebook killer” who streamed the killing of a random Cleveland man has committed suicide, Pennsylvania State Police said on Facebook.

Stephens was spotted in Erie County by members of the state police who attempted a traffic stop and “after a brief pursuit, Stephens shot and killed himself.”

Police last got a ping on Stephen’s mobile phone in Erie. According to the police, they were in pursuit of Stephens when he shot himself. His car came to a stop in the middle of the road near a former elementary school in Erie.
