Femi Fani-Kayode has unwittingly and indirectly taken a swipe at President Muhammadu Buhari.
One of the ministerial nominees of the President, Adebayo Shittu, during his screening on Tuesday, had refused to speak on subject-matter- Boko Haram.
Shittu when question about the Islamic insurgents, said: “I won’t comment on Boko Haram, I still have a family to take care of”.
His crutch for refusal to comment was out of fear of Boko Haram attacks on his family, for speaking against them.
Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, deems the comment as a sign of cowardice and/or emotional involvement with the Islamic terrorist sect.
Shittu wasn’t spared as Fani-Kayode, in a few words, said the ministerial nominee should be ashamed of himself.
He wrote on his Facebook page:
“I won’t comment on Boko Haram, I still have a family to take care of”- Honorable Minister- designate Alhaji Bayo Shittu. Bayo Shittu is either a coward or a closet Boko Haram sympathiser. Shame on him.
