The Federal Government has revealed that it has enough evidence to prove that Senate President, Bukola Saraki, is guilty of false assets declaration.
Saraki, had appealed before the appellate court, the 13-count criminal charge filed against him by the Federal Ministry of Justice.
However, on Friday, the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja was informed by the government prosecutor, Rotimi Jacobs, that there was enough proof to establish that Saraki acquired several assets beyond his legitimate earnings.
Jacobs also told the court that five witnesses were set to testify against Saraki before the Code of Conduct Tribunal and also tender exhibits to prove their case.
It was also revealed that Saraki had been provided furnished with all the evidence against him as well as copies of four separate assets declaration forms that he earlier submitted before the Code of Conduct Bureau.
Consequently, Jacobs implored the Appeal court to strike out Saraki’s application and order him to answer to the charges leveled against him at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
