A former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Haliru Bello Mohammed, as well as his son, Abbah Mohammed, will soon be prosecuted by the Economics and Financial Crimes Commission, over their involvement in the alleged diversion of arms procurement funds.
The former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, is at the center of an investigation into the misappropriation of funds meant for the purchase of arms.
Abbah Mohammed allegedly received about N600 million from the office of the former NSA, using the name- Bam Properties.
Premium Times reports that the EFCC has already filed charges against father and son at a Federal High Court, Abuja.
Mohammed and his son will most certainly be docked on a 4-count money laundering charge on Tuesday, December 29 or Wednesday December 30, the report added.
