The founder of GIO, Olufunke Awobokun, a renowned and certified Mixologist with over a decade of experience, whose passion for distinction and excellence motivated her to establish Cocktails In and Out (CIO)- a mobile cocktail bar service provider/cocktails caterer, which has carved out carved a unique niche for itself in the cocktail industry and grown to become known as the first company to properly define the concept of mobile bartending/cocktails service business in Nigeria.

Awoboun has anchored on her wide and varied experience and inner zeal to grow the cocktail industry in Nigeria, to initiate this plausible concept- Cocktails to Live For; poised to form a formidable platform for other mixologists to showcase their versatile expertise in the preparation of exquisite cocktails and further ignite the trend of cocktails currently sweeping through Nigeria.

This novel concept- Cocktails 2 Live 4 aims to promote the art of cocktails in Nigeria and the growing cocktail culture in our society and equally celebrate, recognize and appreciate Nigerian mixologists.

The event, which will be held bi-monthly at Grills In and Out, Lagos Branch, will also serve as a valuable networking opportunity where mixologists can credibly connect and bond with clients. There will be a lot of photo-shoots, publicity and social media buzz both before and after the event.
