Ekiti governor, Ayodele Fayose has said he won’t lie to Nigerians about owing workers in his state salaries.

In a tweet on Sunday, Fayose said he is owing salaries and “making efforts to pay.”

He wrote, “I’m not among those Nigerians that goes about lying to their people. There are States where workers are being paid half salary and they are telling Nigerians that workers are not being owed salary. In Ekiti, we are owing salary and we are making efforts to pay.”
