An auto crash in the Maryland area of Lagos on Friday led to the death of two women.

A commercial bus with registration number KTU 479 XQ had caught fire at about 2:55 pm.

The Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA) said five persons were rescued from the incident.

The agency said the vehicle was coming from Yaba at top speed and lost control, after hitting an SUV at Cane Village.
