Leader of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Ralph Uwazuruike, has described the arrested Radio Biafra Director, Nnamdi Kanu, as a rebel.
Nnamdi Kanu was arrested by officials of the Department of State Security on Saturday, in Lagos, after just arriving from the UK.
Uwazuruike said on Monday, that Kanu ceased to belong to MASSOB, after he went rogue and started incited violence among members.
The MASSOB leader revealed that Kanu broke the non violence approach of the group and was consequently dismissed.
Speaking through his Assistant Director of information, Sunday Okereafor, the MASSOB leader said: “Kanu’s arrest has nothing to do with the struggle for a sovereign state of Biafra.”
