The Republican National Convention going on in the United States of America may have witnessed its first disaster, right on the first day of the four-day event.
Melania Trump, wife of presumptive candidate of the party, Donald Trump who gave a speech at the convention, has been accused of plagiarising a section of Michelle Obama’s 2008 convention speech.
Her speech on the first day of the Republican National Convention was very well received and hailed as one of the high points of the night, until Jarrett Hill, a journalist and interior designer from Los Angeles recognized striking similarities between her speech and the one given by Michelle Obama at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver.

“…their willingness to work hard for them.””#GOPConvention

It really is no surprise that a presidential candidate famous for lying through his teeth also ends up surrounding himself with plagiarists as well. Thank you, Jarrett Hill.
