The Minister of State for Education, Prof. Anthony Anwukah has said Nigerians are unable to
swiftly adjust to the present “economic recession” due to their “over-bloated lifestyle.”
The minister said this while speaking at the Special Senate Session organised by IMSU in honour of four senators of the university.
Anwukah said Nigerians’ inability to adjust to the economic reality on ground has made the recession heavily felt.
Anwukah however said the country would soon come out of recession.
“Though there is hunger, starvation, penury and pain in the land following the economic crash, I know that after this timeout, it will be better for all Nigerians,” he said.
He also expressed concerns that most of the products in the country were imported.

to be summarily disappointed in this statement is an understatement.
