Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has expressed sadness over the death of Alhaji Maitama Sule.
The former Nigeria Representative to United Nations died after a protracted illness.
On his Twitter account, Osinbajo wrote, “I have received with sorrow, the news of the passing away of Alhaji Maitama Sule, orator, elder-statesman, diplomat and the Danmasinin Kano.
“My deep and heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, association and the government of Kano State, praying that the Almighty God comforts all.”
