Yemi Osinbajo’s media aide, Laolu Akande has reiterated that the ministers confirmed by the Senate will be sworn-in tomorrow.

He said this in a tweet this evening, ‘displacing’ what Buhari’s media aide, Garba Shehu earlier said – that media reports claiming that the ministers will be sworn in is false.

In his own tweet, Akande wrote, “Acting President Osinbajo would be swearing in the two new ministers already confirmed by the Senate tomorrow morning at start of the Federal Executive meeting.”

In reaction to both Akande and Shehu’s tweet, the Presidency on Twitter wrote, “In line with Garba Shehu’s tweet, no confirmation was provided on this matter by the spokespersons AT THEIR PRESS BRIEFING earlier today.

“Garba Shehu’s tweet stands. The confirmation of tomorrow’s swearing-in is a new development, not discussed at the press briefing earlier today.”
