Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, Garba Shehu has threatened to sue the ‘psychopath and coward’ behind the Twitter account of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The presidential spokesperson was on Friday, accused of getting $800,000 forex at the rate of N185 from the Central Bank of Nigeria on the instructions of the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele.

In a series of tweets, the PDP Twitter handle claimed that Garba Shehu sold the $800,000 at a much higher rate of N350 on the same day.

Abba Kyari also got $400,000 at N185 and sold for N340.

The PDP Twitter handle also claimed that the Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, got $22m from CBN and like Shehu, she sold it on the same day, but at N362.

Reacting to the allegations, Shehu also took to his Twitter page to state that he has ‘had only two forex purchases since coming into government’.

The presidential spokesperson said he’s not a forex trader and when he decides to start trading, he would resign from his present job.
