President Goodluck Jonathan has won all the 16 local government areas of Ekiti State in the presidential election of Saturday, March 28.
Similarly, other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party won all the three senatorial seats and 6 House of Representatives seats in the state.
The result was announced by the Chief Returning Officer for the Presidential election for Ekiti State, Prof. Biyi Daramola.
According to Daramola, who’s also the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure, Jonathan polled a total of 176,474 votes to defeat Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress,(APC) who had 120,332 votes.
