Education in Nigeria is in dangerous waters, as a result of outdated curriculum, poor infrastructure and facilites, and worse of all, incompetent teachers.
It is a common occurence to find Primary and Secondary school pupils who cannot string together a full sentence in English, a serious cause for alarm.
It becomes more disheartening when a Primary School, a certain “City of Wisdom international school”, can afford to make several grammatical aberration on the school’s advert flyer, yet expect parents to enrol their children in their school.
The errors says, “Inroll your, child horry up now”.
Unpardonable errors from schools like this, yet again, reignite the conversation of ‘reform’ in the Education sector, and more importantly, stringent rules in approving schools in the country.
