For the past few hours, Pro-Biafrans have been protesting the detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Kanu was arrested by the Department of State Security, upon arrival from the United Kingdom, on October 19.
The Pro-Biafrans, while protesting, blocked Niger bridge, the link between Delta and Anambra states, after soldiers prevented them from crossing to the other side.
The demonstrators reportedly chanted: “We are Biafra, fighting in the name of Jesus, we shall conquer”.
Earlier today, the Nigerian Police Force, issued a warning to prospective protesters, to ditch any planned protest.
