Sambo Dasuki’s trial adjourned to 2016

The Federal High Court, Abuja, has adjourned the trial of former National Security Officer (NSA), Sambo Dasuki to January 20, 2016.

Justice Adeniyi Ademola, on Tuesday, adjourned the case after consulting with counsels of the plaintiff and the defendant.

The federal government had initially filed a fresh application to stop Dasuki from travelling abroad for medical treatment.

Dasuki is being investigated over the alleged diversion of the $2.1billion arms procurement contract.

The Department of State Services (DSS) arrested Dasuki last Monday after a three-week siege on his Abuja residence.

He was also transferred to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) last Wednesday for interrogation.
