Musician, Zara Gretti, is dead. The ‘Abokoku’ singer had been suffering from multiple sclerosis and was receiving treatment in the US.
Zara, whose real name is Margaret-Mary Joseph, reportedly died this morning after putting up a tweet which gives a glimpse into her state of mind before giving up.
“I love and hate my life,” she had tweeted. How sad.
The disease is said to be incurable and other Nigerian musicians made efforts to raise funds for Zara’s treatment.
May her soul rest in peace.
